The mobri S-2 is designed to be mounted in the rigging of sailboats. The best performance is achieved when the mobri radar reflector is mounted in a vertical position as high as possible above the deck, a minimum of 4 mtr./13 ft. is recommended. It should be mounted in the shrouds away from the “shadow” of the mast. Mounting eyes are molded in the structure at top and bottom. Durable lashing materials should be used to attach it to the standing rigging.

It should be mounted on the coach roof, or a flybridge away from the “shadow” of other equipment such as antennas. The mounting bracket on the M-2 has 3 holes for fasteners. The radar reflector is easy to remove when not in use.

Mobri Marine was founded in 1980 by Mogens Pedersen, the designer of the mobri radar reflector. Today the mobri radar reflector is sold worldwide and used by thousands of yachtsmen because of the unique design.
In 2005 Mogens Pedersens daugther Britt and son in law René took over the company.
